So I have never been really big on the whole aftermarket suspension thing. I always figured I'd dump my $ into the other mods. Maybe its b/c I'm only 24 and I ride mostly back country, boondocking, deep trees, etc But I'm in the market for a different sled, and there are some sleds out there w/ Timber Sled, Kmod rear suspensions.

Are they worth the $?
Does it change/effect anything for OFF TRAIL riding?
Is it worth paying extra for in a used sled?

I did a search and couldn't find any review/real world experience type threads so any info to point me in the right direction would be AWESOME!

I've run Holz, timberlsed, and EZryde.

All are at least a little better than a stock WELL set up suspension, but imo, none are worth retail for the improvement you get compared to letting a good suspension guy set up your skid & removing weight from the stocker
.
At used prices though, I would think you'd be happy to have one of them.

The holz I feel is the toughest of the bunch, the older timbersleds were junk imo, but I'm told they've gotten a lot tougher recently, so they might be a real contender at the price that they are.
The ez ryde is also kinda weak for beating on the sled, but has a good feel.

to me, if I could pay about $750-1k extra for one on a used sled I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. Even if it's an older Timberslut skid, it couldn't cost too much to update it with the newer parts.
