With respect to others building Ti parts, not all are going to perform the same. Yes Ti can be on the brittle side depending on grade. Without giving too much away here certain grades can be used on different applications. There are to my knowledge over 100 different grades. They don't always break without bending. Here is a pic of one on my personal sled that I hit a stump with. Beings its the front tube I never bothered changing it. Heres a tip that "REALLY" needs to be passed along whether its Ti or cromoly.. Carry 4 small (good grade) stainless steel hose clamps at all times. If you take out an arm you can splint the bend or break with the clamps and a wrench or even the screw driver tip that's in the tool kit. In some situations you can take both lower main tubes out, in which case one lower arm may be the least of your problems, but none the less it really works pretty good. Thanks! Dan
