I have a 12 pro and I think I wanna switch out the a arms for something stronger and cheaper than the stickers. What options do I have and how much are they? How easy is it to get the replacements? Thanks

Been very impressed with the level of customer service from alternative impact. You call or email him and he answers or writes back almost instantly. Havent had a chance to install the arms yet but they seem like quality product and I expect to be completely satisfied with them. He seems to have most items in stock usually so replacements should be easy to come by and only $100 each

$100??? I looked on the website and it says 195$ where do you get them for 100? can i run my stock uppers with the lowers?

Has anybody ran the Dragon a arms on their pro? i hear that you can do it as long as you dont run the sway bar. They are only 115 a piece so i am tempted to try. Anybody have experience with this??

What about timbersled? Can get all 4 for 450.00 and replace one at a time as needed as they are compatible with the stock ones. Just a thought, but I don't hear much about them on the forum.

I "tweaked" my lower clutch side a-arm yesterday (second one.. dang it!).

Basically a slight bend... doesn't appear to be causing any issues, BUT...

Thinking about buying a new set. Looked at Holz, ZBroz and Alt. Impact replacements... going to stick with the stock width. Any thoughts (positive or negative) on any of these?

Thanks.

Joe

I sell the stockers before I even ride a new sled. Zbroz A arms on every one of my Pros.

Next Level Powersports can get you set up.

What is the advantage of the Z Broz over the others? I do like the sounds of a little more clearance, but is that the only reason?

Thanks for the input.

Strong.
The upper balljoint becomes the weak link.
Easy to carry a spare.

Dunno on the upper arms interchanging but the full set is barely more than the lowers separate.

Looks.
My opinion.

Just installed a the 36" Alt Impact set on my sled. Fit and Finish was top notch, and 445 for the set is very fair IMO.

Whoops that was my typo. $100 for uppers and ya lowers are $195. They do claim it is rare to break a lower tho it usually breaks the end that can be replaced for $15 from what I understand.

After reading this thread and other threads I have ordered a set of 36" Alt impact cro mo a arms.
Also I have seen 3 failure of a arms coming unglued this year, that's my biggest concern I don't want to be stranded because of a faulty glue job!!
