Affordable Mark's Snowmobile Repair in Sheridan ROCKS!!

I purchased an 07 Polaris 600 as a backup sled a few weeks ago, after it died in my trailer and wouldn't restart I dropped it off at Colorado Powersports in Boulder. They did they diagnostics and told me I needed an Overhaul totaling over $2,000. Super disappointed I didn't know who to turn to until I met a couple of forum members here on Rabbit ears suggesting Affordable Mark in Sheridan/Englewood. I dropped it off with him and a couple days after he called me to tell me it was ready to be picked up. It blows my mind that this RIPOFF dealer tried to scam me for $2000+ yet Mark found the issue within a couple hours and it's already ready to be picked up without any extension work needed.

I would Highly Recommend Mark @ (303) 761-3273

I go to him all the time regarding my motorcycle. He is fair and very helpful, even just asking him questions. Won't hesitate to take my sleds to him when need be.

Colorado Powersports said the compression was 90 cyl 1 and 60 cyl 2. Mentioned it needed a top end, crank, carb work and who knows until it is all apart. $2k+

I dropped it off with Affordable Mark's last week, he spent a couple hours cleaning the carbs, draining the fuel, blowing out the fuel line, replaced an O ring on the carb and spark plugs. The first pull it fired right up. His compression check read: 120 cyl 1, 115 cyl 2

$217 fixed by an honest guy who is a sledder and been a mechanic 22years.

Affordable Mark's Shop:
2331 W Hampden Ave Englewood, CO 80110
(303) 761-3273

i'm so excited that it is fixed and that I will still be able to take some friends, family and share the joys of Snowmobiling with others. Last week I wasn't so sure I would be able to facing a $2,000+ repair bill.

And that right there is why a guy needs to know enough to keep from being raped. But Colorado Powersports surprises me. I was guessing Vickery. Because there they charge to chnage out jets on an EFI sled.

I also have used Mark's, and he had the issue solved and me out the door in a timely manner. Seems to really know his stuff, and I would take my junk back there!

just picked it up

Looks awesome, runs fantastic. Colorado Powersports are absolute JOKES!

The service manager was trying to make up all kinds of excuses. Doesn't surprise me but amazes me that very few people and companies have humility. Quality control and customer service is so often overlooked. Karma is a biatch

Very few people you can trust these days. When I need something done on my sled I don't take anywhere except Felkers. Glad you found someone trust worthy as well.

Vickery has always been outstanding to deal with. Bill is there everyday, unlike most owners. PJ, dont MF someone just to run your mouth.

I have had great experiences with Steamboat Powersports as well as Felkers. I have recently dealt with Brook and I can tell you she is AWESOME!!!

X2 with Brook--she has been a guest at Mile Hi SMC on numerous occasions and once you buy a sled from them you get excellent service.

Sorry you had a bad experience with Vickery--I have nothing but good luck with them and Bill Vickery has been closely involved with local sledding issues, sponsoring Ladies Day, sled demos at RE, and pizza nite at his dealership. Mile Hi club members get a VIP discount for parts and accessories.

Bill has ben around forever and was fighting to keep riding areas open before most of you ever heard about a snowmobile or a dirt bike. I don't know about the guys downstairs but Vickery is shop we need in Colorado.

If you want the job done right the first time ask for Keith--you can meet with him and determine if a repair is possible rather than buying a new replacement part.
