AF Dirt Riding 2011

Thursday? We went last night and did a little road ride. Figured the trail was to wet from recent storms. I saw some of AF that I've never seen before. And the wild life was everywhere!! :face-icon-small-hap

Sorry GP, been going fulll tilt to free up a coupla days to go out of town. Just spent 2 nights at Red Rocks in CO seeing some amazing music and meeting great people.
Next week?

Tuesday??? I'm still recovering from Thursday. We got caught up AF in the mud. :face-icon-small-dis

At 1:58 in that first vid...I totally jumped!:faint2: Didn't see the rider coming at ya!!! LOL I had to rewind it just to make sure!:behindsofa: Great moves by both of ya!
Makes me wish I still had a dirt bike!!!....(the motor kind):face-icon-small-sho

Doh! that is muddy. I hear the trails are chewed up from storm damage? Might possibly be able to go Tues. evening. Wed night would work better for me. Let me know

Yes. Storm damage and just all the run off from winter. Our plans just changed for the week though. Left our bikes at the cabin because we're headed back up on Wednesday. Riding four days in the uintas with idaho friends. So the week after we will ride AF again. Plan on that week for sure.

AF is jacked up this year for sure.

Matt, try to plan on Tues (16th) or Thurs (18th) for the next AF rides.

I lost both my rear frame bolts riding yesterday.:face-icon-small-sho
Damn glad I had tools and other bolts to steal from other places. Yikes

Date night and another fun ride. I'm sore and super glad I had a 2 5 0 for this one. I made it up the nasty shale section I had butterflies over all day without any flaws. :faint:

I stopped and got out the camera as much as I could without flying off the mountain...

I picked the softest landing up AF. I didn't make a log hop. LOL! O-well, I tried. :face-icon-small-hap

For those that ride up there we took. 40,157,39,40,172 and 41 I think :face-icon-small-con. Pretty good loop and quite challenging for me. I'll be sore til we ride again on Thursday.

21 miles in 3 hours. :face-icon-small-coo

Ha Ha. You would do great. I know this because I rode behind you. Your not afraid of anything. :face-icon-small-hap

The trails are the best they've been so far this season and of coarse something had to cut the ride a bit short. :face-icon-small-sad I broke my shift lever on a rock heading up 157. We got a decent ride in though. Went up 41, across 173, 157, 252, 157 after the 4-way (broke) went down 40 back across 173 and then down 41 to the truck. Great date!!! Other than the $20 part. Now we'll carry an extra. :face-icon-small-coo

What a perfect ride. :face-icon-small-hap

Ron can fix anything. It worked perfect to finish the ride and head back down to the truck. :face-icon-small-ton
