ak, poor crankcase seals aggrevated by high crankcase temperatures seemed to be the consensus. Some of the failed engines were in the racer class, some were not. To add a bit of insurance to our 4 team sleds, the coated pistons were recommended. Heat issues brought about due to the lack of a cool fuel charge in the crankcase makes sense to us and we coated the pistons. Complications with turbocharging a direct injected two stroke engine and overcoming them can only enhance our understanding of the engine. Again, talented and dedicated sledheads shine the way for the factories and us riders.
 
whats it like at 12psi of boost looks great for 6psi cant what to see it at 12psi or more thanks for the vids
 
110@9.99 per gallon!!

I would like to add that when running 110 race fuel it sure is nice to only put in 4 gallons per ride, also believe it or not the Skidoo gauge top speed is saying 94 mph track speed, I can't say how accurate that is but if its true this will be the sled to beat.
 
i saw this sled run up at buck last weekend... it flat rips!!! they still had some tuning to do on it to get some bog out of the bottom end, but whats to be expected on a brand new turbo/motor set up! Nice work guys, that intercooler behind the headlight delete looks mean!!

I should point out that there have been a few updates to our kit since those pictures were posted:

-Both charge tubes are now full custom silicone for less disruptions in air flow and a cleaner install

-Intercoolers are black powdercoated instead of polished

-We also have non-intercooled option that will allow for the factory headlight to be retained. This will also allow for the intercooler to be swapped in at any time should the end user decide to upgrade.

-Several vents will also be included in the kit at no extra charge. Here's the turbo side:

Aerocharger had more turbo sleds in the Bear lake hill climb than any other manufacture and it was obvious who had the advantage, we had great feed back from all the Skidoo riders they were very impressed with the power and the adjustability of the kit.
