Aerocharger 53 Boost lines / Fuel Regulator

EDIT:
I'm also looking to put a blow off valve on my sled, do ebay blow off valves work? Or does one need to spend the extra coin to get a brand name valve?

And the fuel pressure regulator has a boost line on it as well, Which goes where???

There's a few different fuel line connections on the regulator, just showing what i have to make life easier for people who will offer the help.

Here's where i'm at so far, turbo is installed, i have my wiring all done, and i have one boost line open on the air box, and one T on the attitude box for a boost line.

as for the fuel regulator.

the one that comes out the bottom with the little grommeted end on the line is a return you plumb back into the top of your fuel tank to dump pressure. and the 2 on the sides are your in/out from fuel pump and one to the fuel rail.. either one can be used for either. blue boost line off the regulator goes to the airbox.

for the aero, no answers for ya, sorry.

All your boost nipples on airbox are for boost reference. These need boost reference... Boost gauge, fuel pres. regulator, efi control box, and vane controller on the turbo (brass nipple). Im not sure about the vane controller, but assuming the barbed brass nipple had a hose attached to it...
I think the other nipple on turbo vane control, just vents to atmosphere, no tubing needed on it, but not 100% sure.
Fuel pressure regulator like ski-dooin it said, your fuel line runs through the regulator in a straight line, gauge should probably be on the fuel line that runs to your injector rail. Bottom of regulator goes straight back to the tank. You can either do a bulkhead fitting in your tank, or use a tight rubber grommet at the highest point possible to run your return fuel line through it and into the tank.

I'm still not fully comfortable with putting the fuel pressure regulator on, got this email from aerocharger
The fuel regulator will need to be hooked up to the engine side of your throttle bodies so that it sees vacuum and pulls fuel pressure at idle.

Regulator?

Why would you need that style of fuel pressure regulator on a fuel injected sled? How are you adding more fuel? Not with fuel jets I hope. Shouldn't additional fuel be added via a second set of injectors run by an auxillary control box based on boost? That reg in the pics is for a carb job.

It came with the turbo i bought, it was on an M8 before. I have a fuel pressure gauge on my sled right now. That i can adjust the pressure by screwing in or out a set screw. I have stock fuel delivery. Only running low boost(6-8psi). I have an attitude box to control the fuel to boost.

Can anyone else shed some light on my situation?

I dont think you need a BOV for your setup. I have no idea what aerocharger is telling you, or what you are telling them. Your sled is fuel injected right? Only thing I have hooked to engine side of t.bodies is my BOV, that needs vacuum. I dont know why that regulator would want to see vacuum. Maybe they are confusing you... Need more info from you. Also, look on some others builds. There are still people running your same setup... Start sending PM's to get in touch with someone that can help.

Bendy- That fuel regulator, from the picture looks to be the same exact one I have. Mine is on my fuel injected sled. I am pretty sure it is Holley (brand).

BOV's are really helpful on any kit, they just help overall performance.

get a bosch one... go to your local parts place and tell them you need a BOV off of a 1999 VW passat with the 1.8 turbo. thats the one i got mine for. there like $60, plastic, super light, responsive, and dont fail.. there are also a TON of other car apps they run these on, thats just the exact car i had to know it was on.

I would like to put a BOV on my set up just so i don't stress the turbo any more then it will already be stressed. So with that fuel pressure regulator that line would be hooked to the air box to use the boost, not vacuum?

I agree, i like the idea of letting all the air go when i'm off the throttle and not keep moving until the boost is used. I did a google search and is what you're talking about the diverter valve?

Edit: looked at the diverter valve and couldnt find anything about setting the boost pressure it diverts the pressure at.
