Aem air/fuel gauge install

So still unsure of a definative answer on where to mount the sensor? When guys are mounting it in the body of the can are you removing any of the packing, would that effect the readings at all?. would it be a better idea to mount just before the body of the can on the inlet itself?
 
What should the #'s be? Higher is leaner right? Some say between 11-12.5 others say up to 14? Could someone let me know what is best so i dont burn down!!
 
Yes, higher #'s are leaner.

I would stay 12.8 or lower on wide open pulls to stay safe.

Mine idles around 14 and I see some 13's in the midrange.
 
What is the full name of the AEM A/F gauge. I looked at their website but could not determine which one to buy. Thanks

i think it is a good location when you think of the physics of it all.....

I like that location too, and I have a jaws can :beer; But the bung setup sure looks big, what does it look like on the part that goes inside the can? What sled? Can you describe the readings you get etc?
