The report said that they were running out of gas and were disengaged from any action.. it says that anyways.

At the end of the second video, you can see that they started backing up after they got whacked. They had gas, they were just too stupid to get out of the way.

oh the irony....wacked out enviro protesters' boat sunk because they run out of gas.

I wonder if they know that you can render whale fat to produce a gasoline substitute. All you need is to do is to add some baby seal and some dolphin and you have a prefectly acceptable gas substitute.

Regarless of who's right/who's wrong, you can only F with people so long....me thinks if the greenies want to play like that, they should be a little more on their toes.

If anybody watched Whale Wars on TV last season we have to remember that the "greenies" pirate ship rammed a Japanese fishing ship as it was going to "process" at the "research ship". The "greenies" were confronted in Australia by the police because the Japanese called FOUL. Do they really need to fish 1200 whales in a NO fishing zone??? I'm not defending the "greenies" but do we think these Japanese fishermen have the right to fish where the world has decided a habitat? It sounds like poaching to me, and I know I wouldn't want to loose my guns over it. If I'm not mistaken these are the same people that will take a shark just for it's fin, and throw it back. I've been lucky enough to fish the ocean on vacation for years and can honestly say that I do not believe it's OK to harvest in a spawning\no fishing habitat. Have the Japanese fished all their waters out??? Just my 2 cents. :beer;:beer;

Fox news interviewed Bob Barker via telephone the other day about this. He has 5 mil invested in this project. Unlimited funding like this keeps the greenies in business thats for sure.

I'm not to up on this but it seems to me that the whole world has decided to make whaling illegal and the Japs are doing this under the umbrella of "research" then the Japs should be nuked again. What could possibly be learned from killing a species that is endangered that we do not already know about this species? Unless the Japs are trying to find out what will happen to the world's oceans after whales are extinct

I don't know jack about the legalities of fishing whales, all I'm saying is they should have been paying closer attention considering the turmoil between the 2 sides. Their boat looked much faster and there's no reason to get hit unless you're asleep at the wheel.

well i guess if we were not blessed with the resources and agriculture and ability to basically feed and have a diminished land mass we just might have the shoe on the other foot and still rely on the ocean like they need to such as they have for a lot longer then what we have been a nation..i agree with what they did here to ram that boat...and i would have put a bullet in them as well...yes the whaling issue is a serious one...but when you see a 500 pound bluefish tuna sell for 177 thousand dollars to buyers in Japan you know they love their fish...lol...!!!!!

Maybe there's a legitimate issue with Japenese "researchers" selling their harvest. But, these are the same people, same mentality that thought burning down the 13,000 sq/ft Two Elks restaurant on top of Vail Mountain would stop the ski area from installing a few lifts. Its just too bad that the whaling ship didn't get them dead center and sink that James Bond Jalope - turn or no turn.

Vigilantiism is not acceptable. The Japanese, Icelanders, and Norwegians do whaling on a legal thread - but it is legal. This antiwhaling green group is strictly a vigilante group, and should be treated as such.

It confounds me that the US Marshalls have not arrested this group of vigilantes.

Bob Barker = World Police.

If the whaling ships are doing something illegal, wouldn't you think somebody would arrest them? I know I know... what a crazy concept.
