ADVICE ON BUYING 900

I am thinking about buying a 900 for real cheap anybody give me any advice whether or not to buy or stay away

I just picked one up this year. I figured you get a lot of sled for the $$.

I did a lot of reading and decided to give it a go..

Look over the sled real close. I found the intake boots were cracked and talked him down another $100.

Factor in the $$ you will need to spend to make it trail worthy. I think Ill have another $500 into parts on top of the purchase price. Should be a fun ride this winter!

I was just at Hay Days last weekend and saw a few listed around 3K. But you can find them cheaper...

There's lots of good info in the stickies... be sure to do some serious reading. If you're not mechanically inclined I would recommend against it... if you don't mind tinkering on the thing from time to time and taking the time to set it up properly, you can get a lot of sled for the money.

Go for it dude, you can't beat a nicely tuned 900. I have 3 of them now LOL... I'm turning into guido... One is gonna get boosted and the other is gonna have SLP's performance package and the other I'll leave stock LOL

900 is a better buy than an 800 a lot less problems and a lot more power!
What more can you ask for? Oh an 07 would have been nice.....

I had to turbo my 09 800 assault when i got it after years of being spoiled with the ski lifting torque of the stock 06 900
