adjusting idle on dual carbs

this is a total newb question but im fine with that. How do you adjust your idle corretly with dual carbs?? I have a 97 RMK 500 and a 95 ski doo summit 670 that I purchased this summer.

I have the mixtures on both dialed in I think just by the manual but as for the idle...not sure how you know they are both even or what? Thanks!

For idle I always used a drill as a guage.
Set them both so that the same drill passes the same through both.

Then set the cable length so they both start to pull off idle at prox the same time.

'least that's how I doo it....

he's talking about putting the drill bit under the slide that way the slides are sitting the same height
