adjustable weights

I want to get some adjustable weights for my 2010 crossfire.

I ride 50% at home 0-2500'

50% out west 6000-10000'

What do you guys suggest?

I'm sure I'll go over 10000 someday. How much adjustment can you get?

It depends on what other mods you have done. I basically ride the mountains on my m8 and they are around 6 to 7k. With my y-pipe, can, reeds, and larger intake, I am running the cutler 75 - 85 gram kit, and found the 76 gram the best torque so far. I have not played with the spring combos yet.

Not much for mods. 2.25 powerclaw track. and some powder pro skis. It will get a can someday. stock low ele helix they recommend a straight 40. For High ele cat recommends a straight 36

I was wondering about the CPC adjustable weights also, is the profile of the CPC weight the same as the stock profile?

I have a new HCR coming and had the same question. I was told the new 800 is higher revving so what worked on an 09 or older won't work on a 2010. I would think adjustable weights in the 65g to 75g range would be best as Cat recommends 71.5 for 0-3000ft or so I'm told? I don't have my sled yet.

I like the heavy hitters. You can add 14.5 grams to the base weight. You can tweak the low, mid, or top end how you like.

Heel Clickers work awesome too.

I had the CPC weights. They work good, but are limited when it comes to fine tuning. However, they are easily adjusted on the trail.

Yes.

Very easy to adjust in the field. I like the tip loaded a little, do that before putting them in. I have the old style with a heavier tip, so I'm guessing +.75 in tip of new style? Call them, they should be able to tell you what to run.

I heard about some adjustables that use magnets to add weight, any one know about these and or used them

The d&d magna force weights are the one's with magnets.
I like the super tips for flat land and high altitude.I believ you can add up to 30grams per arm.

First off, get your self a second primary and then use the Cutlers adjustables. It's a lot easier to just have a primary for both places. Call Dale and he can get you pretty close and then it's just takes a little tweeking. They are the easiest to adjust on the hill. 5-10 mins.
