Who has run what for adjustable hitches? Im consedering the bw townstow, and the versit-tech adjustable hitch. Im leaning more towards the versit-tech hitch because it comes in a 2.5" shank over the bw. Want to know what you guys think. If i go with the bw i have to use an adaptor to bring it down to
2". This is for an 08 chevy duramax.

i have the rapid hitch. love it. so much easier to adjust than the bw tow and stow. EVERY single of one my buddies withe tow and stow have issues with corrosion.

I have the B&W and bought it for the adjustability(obviously) and unmatched strength. Corrosion can be an issue, but I never leave mine in when not in use.

that helps a lot. in the winter, my dad always is making sure to wash it after every trip and has to anti seize everything on it which makes a nice mess when it comes to time to actually use it

I just bought the rapid hitch. Will never use another style. Can flip the ball size really fast and I have both 2" and 2 5/16" ball size trailers. I had it black anodized to match my truck and it looks really nice now. I also like to fiddle with the hitch height to see how it changes the handling when towing as I drive pretty fast and that takes just seconds too. Buy the locks that are sold to fit the hitch or you won't have it for long.

Look at Redneck Trailer Supply, looked at a few but settled with the brand that they stock, I can not remember the brand off hand but adjustability and versitility is unmatched thus far....Has towed everything my dually can throw at it :)

B&W is great I have both bumper hitch and fifth wheel, the rapid hitch is nice but u have to buy so many locks for it, I've never had any issues with corosion and its much cheaper and black I hate Chrome

yeah... two locks.. ughh! terrible! :) at least with my locked up rapid hitch i dont have to worry about anyone pulling out a pin and leaving my hitch useless :)

just teasing... both are great. my old man has the b and w and i have the rapid hitch. I find his a pain in the *** to use, but that may be because i'm used to mine. I think he likes it purely becaue it is "tow and stow" and he can keep it in and show everyone he has a b and w. i always take mine out. different strokes for different folks i guess.

Yeah I like the b&w cause with the pins out it still won't come off the other part of the hitch and I like that it folds up under out of the way so someone (myself) doesn't whack the **** out of my shines plus I'm still picky about no Chrome on the ol truck but they are both great hitches

agreed. each has their ups and downs. i think the rapid hitch and the b&w are the best you can buy though.
