I know jacmmaxwell was up that way last weekend, maybe he'll chime in...
I'll be there in two hours, probably Smith Butte or might just drive up rd. 80 until I hit enough snow. Will let you know, was 38 degrees at Meadows this morning, 19 at my place (1500')

1/13 report:
Well, the initial trail section is junk but with the inversion everything up high was nice and soft. Could set up again of course. Parking is about a mile past Smith Butte, the road is a skating rink, be careful!

Gentlemen this is Red Dog, My wife has a Big Dog Show next week @ the portland expo center shes wants me to attend with her again. I'v done this with her for the last 5 years. Problem is Red Dog gets very bored watching all the nerautic (sp) dog people . I plan on driving down seperatley with my truck and sled.Weather of course looks promising, if any one would show me the mountain I would be elated. Cheers Red Dog 509-366-9064
