ActionSportsVideos.com - What's your experience?

I ordered my Burandt video from these guys on July 12th (!!!!) and have yet to get it. I was notified on the 13th that it had shipped.

I've emailed them back and forth inquiring where it is. Some things I've been told:

- We didn't get the videos on time so shipping was delayed, it's shipped now (beginning of August)
- You should have had it by now, I'll ship you another one (they will no longer honor this btw)
- We traced your package, it has cleared customs and should be there any day (This was Tuesday, yet they will not respond and give me the tracking number)

I'm thinking that it's time to dispute charges with my credit card company. Waiting 6 weeks for a DVD is ****ing ridiculous!

What are your experiences with these guys?

I knew I should have ordered it elsewhere

I think there was a thread about these guys before, not worth the hassle to get a freakin DVD, either you have it or not or you ship it or not. Sorry to hear bud

I started the same thread.

I did get mine about 4 days ago. I was told 4 times it was shipped, but later to be told they didn't have the DVD's yet. If they would of told me the truth it wouldn't of been a problem.

I will not order from them again. They are a little cheaper to buy from, but after this deal I will pay the few extra bucks and get it somewhere else.

I couldn't agree more. I'll be ordering from Snowest Advertisers from now on. I'm sorry to hear you went through the same bull****, but I'm hoping my DVD shows up soon like yours did!

I'm going to F-ing snap if I don't get this thing soon!

I had a similar deal happen to me. Can't remember the exact vid but it was new last year, they told me that the producing comp. was behind getting them out. Came about 2 weeks late.

Not sure what happened, but I get emails from their other site, actionsportsvideo.com without the "s" in videos. I wonder if the owners split the business in 1/2???

Action Sports Videos

I ordered 5 or 6 videos from these guys last year. All of them were suppose to be in stock and shipping. Well after a few months and several packages later I had my DVDs. At the end of the day I spent more money in long distance trying to get them then on the vids themselves.

Problems no DVD delivery

Not a snowmobiler but I ordered 2 windsurfing instruction DVD's form actionsportsvideo.com almost a month ago now and also had the excuses that they had trouble with the company that makes them. They had also sent an email before this saying they were shipped and in this email that they shipped a few days ago. Now the phone isn't answered, phone messages are not returned and no email response either. I contacted my CC card company to dispute the charge. Maybe they were OK in the past but obviously there are problems now.
