While waiting for snow, I've added a few things to the new M8.

Console pads
AMP rear rack
Tunnel Pad cut to fit the rack
AC windshield bag
under hood goggle bag
AMP gauge cage with custom mesh over the hole
AMP forward bar riser ( on order )
Scratchers
Fox float guards

Still looking for the cleanest way to mount the Muff Pot and a lightweight can that is still quiet. Can't wait to ride it!

Here's a couple pics:

Thanks-

It was painful sticking those big arse registration decals on the tunnel after I took those pics. I can't believe they don't come up with a better way.

Anyone come up with a good place to put the muff pot on these. I put it on the can of my wife's M7 but it really isn't hot enough and clamp seems to slide around on the tapered pipe. The new M has alot of heat shielding that may get in the way. I'm sure I'll come up with something, but ideas are always appreciated.

looks great AJ. I really like the black AMP stuff on your sled.

Lookin Sweet you will have to loose that Suitcase of a can and then you will have room for the muff pot. as well the stock can would never get hot enough to cook anything especially with that heat shield wrapped around it.:D

Your black amp gauge cage looks slick. I didn't know they came in black :D

Yeah I think the black looks pretty good. I believe it's only about $5.00 difference over the silver aluminum ones. They make a nice looking black gas cap also but I'm gonna hold off on that.

I'm thinking some side panel vents would be cool. Which ones are most people using? Any pics?

AJ

I got some from cpc racing a few years ago, but now I'm seeing some pretty cool ones from xxxmodrods.com I'd check them out or some from Tami at 2 coolvents, great products there too!

i would have put the rack closer to the seat - less stress the closer in it goes. I like the black amp stuff though.

Hey where did u buy the amp rear rack from?

I thought about that too. Unfortunately the AC rubber pad dictates where it's placed and I put the rack over the pad. There's an odd cutout on the tunnel where the top of the rear cooler is exposed. The pad comes double thick in that location and is cut to match that recessed spot.... hence the placement. I figure it will just give me more space to swing my big boots across. ;)

I do think the new seats make it look even more pronounced. I gotta say, the new seats are awesome!

I buy my parts from Mount Baker Motorsports cause their prices are good and they keep stuff in stock. :beer; That's worth it right there.

Pm MBMS on here if your looking. You could also try AMP's website.

how does that amp rack compare the the racks they used to have on the m series? I have a 2.5 gallon jug I'd like to figure out how to put on my 2010.
NIce looking sled!

Thanks AJ we appreciate your business. I can see we need to stock more of the black it looks real good. As for the cutout Arctic Cat says they did that for weight savings as the cooler suffices for a closeout on the tunnel.

The AMP rack is very stylish but for those looking for a bit more actual rack the Arctic Cat accessory rack is nice looking, comes in several colors, and has adjustable rods for different cargo fitting.

Thanks,
Woody

Right on! that white looks real good !!

So far, I just added the AC gas rack and my SummitSeeker ice scratchers. Ill be adding a tunnel bag, maybe a windshield bag, shock guards, and a Can of course..thinking Skinz, D&D or HPS, along with other stuff that will/possibly come at a later time.. Was thinking about changing skis to Powder Pros.. :D

im sure everyone has seen these...:)

we stock Skinz and SLP silencers. The part number for the production silencer for the 800 and the 1000 are the same this year. My guess is the M1000 application is going to work well on this motor but our distributor is listing new part numbers for the 800 HO for both silencer brands. They are waiting for product verification after the companies test with production machines.
