what do these weigh when full? The hand written tag says 578.9, which I'm guessing to be grams. My postal scale says 1 LB 4.4 oz and doesn't convert, is this the same? Thanks for the help

The canister weight varies by the canister. That is why each individual canister should have the original weight of the canister (without the cap) written or stamped on the canister. If your canister has 578.9 written on the can, then that is in grams.
1lb 4.4oz = 20.4 ounces. Convert that to grams and you get 578.3 grams.
As long as you are within about 5% of the original weight, you are good to go.

Thanks, out of four, they where all different but within the 5%, how long will these tanks hold their pressure, years?

It also depends on which cannister you have. There will be 3 different ones soon. There is the original black one which was around the 389-399 grams. There is the new yellow cannisters which is around the 570 gram mark. And there will be a new carbon fiber tank which will be released soon i believe.
