Abs Backpacks

I bought my Klim ABS Escape 15 from Cooke City Motorsports, I test fired it successfully & repacked it.

I was able to fit the following from my DeKine pack - first aid kit, emergency blanket, safety pack (w/ matches, compass, mirror, firestarter, leatherman, flashlight & batteries, rope, duct tape, whistle, hand warmers), spare goggles, gloves, & snacks consisting of candy bars, energy bars & trail mix.

I was ableto make this all fit in the Escape 15.
I am pleased to say the pack wears more comfortably than the DeKine Heli-Pack & it doesn't seem overly heavy or noticeable.
I was also able to strap a Black Diamond shovel on the back of the pack.

If you can swing one I would highly recommend one.
I know The Sled Shed in Tacoma also carries them - they are sold out on the Escape & have the Freeride in stock.
I ordered from Cooke City because I wanted the extra room of the Escape model.

Good Luck in your research.

Last season we had only one rider in our group with a ABS pack. While we were at Lion Head last season he had to deploy it. The bags stayed on top of the snow the whole time. He stood up and walked away. DONT THINK ABOUT IT JUST GET ONE!

Yes. Had to dig out his sled but he stood up and started looking for his snowmobile. Before this I thought the ABS packs were allot of money and a luxury(and I sell them)-now I think they are a bargain. This year I sold a pack to about every one in our group that saw this. I am not making a sales pitch, just telling what happened. If I can help you please call me toll free at 18884594906.
