I have a 1999 sno pro with a 99 zr 500 W/ a 700 D&D big bore and its efi. Is there a small turbo that is user friendly. I can machine and fab up almost anything, all im asking for is 20 or 30 more hp. Its a very light motor and chassis.

parts already aquired- a fuel presure regulator with a turbo port to push more fuel under boost

- also already have a D&D fuel presure regulator on it for the big bore.

Sounds like a fun project, but............"fool proof" LOL

Just a suggestion: build your self a bunch of questions that need to be answered:

Port Duration: What is it and will it work with pressure
EFI: Is there a supplimental box that will work with it
Fuel: big enough pump and injectors

I had a ball building mine recently.........look hard there is lots of data on this forum, Good luck!

ttt I understand the words " user friendly" is a little unhurd of in the turbo world. Which is better a arocharger or turbocharger?

As far as few parts needed and ease of installation the areo-charger would be the way to go. IMO. Tha areo-chager is nice because it is all self contained hook up the exhaust and charge pipes and then tune.

An Aero 53 would be way easier to install and work great on that engine. Finding a fuel controller that fits your application and has the right program will be the hard part.
