A Minnesota Nontypical-Typical Deer

You mean at least 2 of the wardens in the area could bend a gun barrel by hand;) At least you tag them, we normally drag them in and tag at the store, where nobody even checks the deer.

Two? There are 6 with in 10 miles of Aitkin.

pffft...i hunt Brainerd every year on land we have...gets worse and worse every year...

That's where the "beautiful" deer live for the beautiful people to hunt....still not sure how Wiz can still live there?

Are you from the area originally, I can't think of any other reason to hunt north central MN for deer...or to travel out of Jackson for that matter.

I was thinking Brent and that big son of a buck that patrols around Hill City....

Don't know the one in Hill City.
But that definitely describes Brent, though it looks like he slimmed down this summer.

he did look smaller when he checked out boat registration....but he still is big. Nice guy though and very helpful.

That is not a Non-Typical, it is a basic 5X5 frame. The "acorns" can be common on tines. I have 2 bucks with acorn tines.
Nice deer though!:face-icon-small-hap

I am with you on that not being a non-typical.

His tines are not that tall either but mass seems ehhh ok.

I would guess a score of around 135 to 145.
