Anyways, I am going to Paganfest in Minneapolis in May, and I get to see a bunch of awesome European metal bands. Here's one of them. Folk instruments, and an In Flames or Dark Tranquility type vocal. Absolute awesomeness.

I urge you to check them out, and if you like them, buy the CD. Bands like this aren't rich, or even wealthy in the least, the music is their hobby, and most of them work real 9-5 jobs on the side, so if you like, buy, I always do.

Yea, Johan is kinda strange sometimes, I have the "Wrath of the Norsemen" DVD where there's a ton of live Amon Amarth footage and he's certainly a piece of work. I wouldn't call his vocals cookie monster though (funny, that's actually a classification of vocals in metal), I would consider him simply a death/guttural style.
