I am working on steering post bushings for the axys chassis and need some info since I don't have a sled to look at myself. I the diagram I need to know what part #11 does and what mounts to the single hole on the bent end

Part #11 is just an aluminum plate that holds the plastic bushing in place. On my previous sleds I have put in a heavier one as this is what bends then allows the plastic bushing to crack in the middle and giving you sloppy play. If you make metal bushings you would eliminate this plate.
If you are referring to the bottom of the steering post, there is a connecting rod that bolts to that hole.

My guess from the proximity of the wire loom in the photos, that they were thinking of using that hole to secure the wire loom, but in production that did not take place. Just my thought / opinion from looking though.

Very well could be but everything tucks into the
Velcro bag and sits below the fuel pump opening
Probably an after thought ??

There is a purple connector (female) that goes to nothing
And I have all options on this sled -multiple harness?

May have been a routing change and they never went back and changed the hard parts. At any rate it looks like Polzin can discount it when he is designing his new steering parts.

Cut that tab off the top one!!!
Weight loss!!!!!
Lol

I assume polzin intends to make them similar to the pro rmk ones I bought that work so well. :)
With short socket head cap screws and less aluminum.

That's a big 10-4 getting a late start but it's just few changes to an already proven design so shouldn't be a big deal.

A BIG thanks to sage crusher for the pics!

Kreg, sign me up for a set as usual. Hurry up or it will be summer prices ;)
