A/F ratio gauge

I run at high 12's at idle. About 12.8 Never had an issue. If your gauge is correct, that seams awful lean for idle. Try turning your fuel pressure up at your regulator while at idle before sending in for a reflash.

okay here's an update. after it warmed up and came off hi idle seen hi 12's so may be all is good.took it out for a quik rip but not enough snow to really see much for #'s.how would i turn up fuel pressure?also still stutters a bit if you wfo it,that was gone at higher elevations?maybe a bit more weight on the primary weights?thanks guys new to yammaha so can use all the help!:beer;

AEM dashes

Snow JW,

The three dashes indidcate a an overscale lean condition (greater than 16.0:1 I think? ) Does it do this at idle or only at WOT?? We silicone sprayed the sensor connection plugs to help keep moisture out. If they get wet they will not work or go loopy. CRC make a good spray to use. No problems since we did this.

If it only goes lean at WOT make sure your fuel pressure reg is giving you 2 punds extra rail pressure for every pound of boost, and that your rapid bike is tied into the sleds timing ( these are the two white oval connectors on the RB3 that will tie in series with the back oval connectors on your sled behind the PTO cylinder on the sleds bulkhead just left of the exhaust pipes.

Hope this helps!! Sean
