9R 155

I wanted a 9r 146. Couldnt get one. Didnt want to drive out of state. Ill just build one. When I take delivery of my 850 146 ill have a motor to install. No big deal. Im not butthurt about anyone else getting one even if they do work at a dealer. If you want something bad enough you can make it happen.

It's called "Tough Sh#t our customers come first, don't like it go work somewhere else if your going to buy a vehicle elsewhere." This world of narcissist's ideal of ME ME ME, I WANT is complete bullsh$t!. Car dealerships did the same thing when I worked at them when limited items like a T-Bird and other limited production vehicles came up. Hell I can remember seeing a woman that worked in the dealership office showed up with a new vehicle that we had on the lot but she bought it from another dealership. Owner called her up to the sales tower and said in so many words, "You forgot about the family that helps put food on your table to save a couple hundred bucks. For this reason you also chose to abandon this family. You can go clean out your desk and leave. Then turned to us and said, "Anyone who disagrees with this policy can leave with her." Nobody went because he was right. You may disagree of what it "right" in the land of employment. Of course I live in a right to work state where they can fire you for absolutely no reason. If I were the owner and it was my business and my employee flaunts that they purchased from my competitor, cutting out my people in the process? I'd send them out the door with their box of sh$t skidding behind them.

So you would fire someone for going elsewhere to buy a unit that you refused to sell them?

Sounds like a good way to insure you have zero employees.

I can see limiting staff to 1 sled order, maybe tell them 1 limited production every 2-3 years. I can't see telling them they're not allowed to order and then firing them when they do it elsewhere.

You'll be able to buy them , just for more. This year you could get a brand new boost no miles on about a million different classifieds and they where we available long before most got their snowchecks. Kinda like scalping a ticket I guess.

Long winded troll posts from a guy without a sled. ?
I didn't intentionally "troll" I just made a comment that the regular page moneybags bully tried to bash and I simply didn't roll over. Your not far behind that bully status either. Try to be a little more cordial and I'll return the favor. But I've had about enough of both of your trash talking crab mentality BS over nothing.

Lighten up ……..

It’s the internet……….

If you type information in with the assumption you are laying down wisdom but you actually don’t have direct experience or relevant information related to the topic matter……………

You will get some flak……….

Don’t be afraid to have some push back and forth action…….

If other folks have direct experience in the topic matter?
But they put information out in a direct/blunt manner?

It might just still be correct even if the facts hurt your feelings…….

It’s talk about sleds, nobody is physically attacking you.

Don’t buy into the woke concept that “words are violence”…………

Typical response I'd expect from a bully. "Whoa!! Hey hey hey I didn't mean...." soon as someone pushes back on your antics. Maybe you should lighten up a bit Francis and there would be no problem.

Who would want to work for a dealership that would not give you a better deal then your competitor !! I know I sure would not !!!

You'll definitely be able to get the sled you want - if you've got cash and are willing to pay thousands over MSRP. The best advice I could give would be to work the phones, talk to every Poo sales department you'd remotely consider traveling to for the sled you want. Tell them what exactly you want, and any fallback sleds you'd consider. Half of them will promptly forget you, but people back out, stuff happens, and you never know. You could also make a short list of the dealers you get the most positive response from and bug them occasionally. It may not work, but the next option would be responding to one of the adds like we've saw in Jan-Feb selling Boost sleds in the $25k range.

All the OEMs have some kind of measures to keep employees or private parties from buying in-demand, hard-to-get inventory to turn around and sell. And plenty of dealers, employees and private parties work overtime to find ways around it. The good dealers prioritize loyal customers first, then their employees who actually ride, and the profiteers last. But more often than not, it's the money, the good old boy network, or a mix of both, that get the hot stuff. I've always said if you have a good dealer who takes care of you, stick with them, maybe even if they're not the brand you'd prefer. Obviously, that's assuming you buy new sleds regularly. Some dealers make money by pushing inventory on people just looking for the bottom dollar, kickbacks from individuals buying in-demand inventory to resell, high-pressure tactics, and other things from the sleezy salesman playbook; some dealers make money by creating a loyal customer base and taking care of them. I haven't found any like the latter in my neck of the woods, but they'll definitely get my business if I do.

Buddy of mine rode it for a bit a couple weeks ago, said its pretty impressive.

How does it feel pulling on the rope?
My brother put a Cobra cord on his sled and if u don't put a death grip on the handle, it feels like it's going to dislocate ur knuckles. [emoji43]

I can confirm a widespread extremely compartmentalized conspiracy where dealership sales people bought all of the 9R 155" units. Aiming to get rich off re-selling a couple sleds....yessir come winter 2023 it will be Jeffy Bez and sled sales guys at the top of the pile. Extremely disappointed some guy on the internet "heard about it" and spilled the beans....no honour these days I tell ya. I hope the plan still works. Anyways I actually have a dozen at my house right now....would be more but I needed to leave room for all of the other limited inventory I have coming. I am taking blind non-refundable payments of which the highest amounts wins the opportunity to purchase a machine at a highly inflated price. DM me your credit card info and I'll tell you if you made the list. I also received an email saying I'm in charge of dividing up Bill Gates fortune....so for an extra charge you can also get in on that.
