I got 99 summit 600. Do I need different clutch weights for going out west? I've talked to a couple of dealers one said yes the other said the stock clutch is setup for 0-9000 ft range. I find that hard to beleive. Thanks

on ski-doo thats why it has the adjusting bolts in the clutch with the numbers on them~~ but when you change one you have to change the all to the same number!! other sleds you have to change weights with ski-doo all ya do is loosen and rotate the bolt~ you will just reset them when you change altitude
What number are you running here in MN?
If you are running 3 or 4 here you won't have enough to get the RPM's you need out west.

Yeah my clutch is set to 3. I am going out to togwatee the range is like 6000-9000 ft. Do you know what weights I need?
