fresh build 975 motor for a 06 900 all done by slp around 195 hp it pulls super hard,need to run 70-30 112 race gas $2800.00 cost over 3 grand to build

06 polaris rmk 900,motor really makes a difference in this snowmobile,was strictly made for hillclimd racer.super fast!!!!!!

would this motor work well in a mountain sled? will it drop right in an 06 chassis?

this motor is in a rmk 900 with a 156 track,I've rode it in the mountains for two years,very very consistant motor never had any problems at all,let my brother use it and he put premium gas and then had to rebuild it,so i had them rebuild the hole thing cost around $3300 put 100 miles on it ran awesome,just parting the sled out,buying my kid a sled

I think what the question was... can you bolt this into any sled? I am not 100% sure, but polaris changed the mounting on some engines. The 900 and the FST I think both had a side mount system that mounted into the stringer beside the bulkhead instead of a bottom mount that actually mounted to the bottom of the bulkead. In any case.... I would say no to the bolt in job unless the sled had a 900.
Please check into this before hand. I am not trying to kill your sale partner, but I would be an unhappy customer if I bought the engine only to find it didn't fit.
Possibly there are bosses on the bottom of the 900 that allows it to be a direct bolt in... something to look into....
