975 Big Bore Kits

Hey Guys just bought the rider select delete kit. And was talking to the guy about carls cycle 975 big bore kit . I was wondering are they still being made , And how much , and hp gains.

not being made. You might be able to find a used one. There is one on ebay now but the computer you need to run it isn't with it.
225hp I think but guidoxpress would know for sure.

KITS

In the Carl's kit you sent them the head, jugs, guillotines & computer to be worked on.Then they sent it back with new pistons, rings, & o-rings for the injectors. hope this helps:face-icon-small-winFF

Jack Sturthers wont release any HP gains with his bog bore kits for the 975 or the 1140..

but i am pretty sure its around 215-225hp

its a BEAST...i love it.

p.s your delete kit is on the way, had to change shipping cause they wanted almost $35 :O

If I had to guess what the corrected HP number on a 975 was... I'd guess in the 180 - 185 hp range... based on ride impressions.

Carls does not make them any longer...

On an 06 RMK... the SLP performer kit is 90% of 975 IMO without the need to remove the cylinders from the sled.

i strongly disagree with this one bud...there is no way...ive ridden pretty much every level of 900 from stock to heavy modded and its MUCH more than a hopped up SLP perf pkg setup...

but i know they rock!

According to Jack, Carl's will build you one BUT only in the off-season.

But that was back in November....

thats pretty good to hear, hate to see them phase out the 975, they just flat out run..

Mine out pulls the hell out of anything else I have ever ridden, but it's a turbo:face-icon-small-ton
