so we swap out my kids rmk 600 pick up a 97 700 cheep. then it blows a conecting rod bearing on the crank side/clutch side. so we tear it down. and it needs a rebuild. needs pistons(worn) then conecting rod bearing it done. so now its my kids sled. he dont ride the big hills. so what do i do? rebuild a 97 or try to find a motor(thats not easy to do)

I've got a '99 700 assembled bottom-end that I robbed the cylinders off of.... I might be willing to part with it...

The big block 600's and 700's share the same bottom end, is the 600 you swapped out still around?

no the 600 is gone. so i found a rebuild crank kit $750 plust $100 for gaskets and so on. i foumd a motor with a lean burn piston for $500.i was hoping i could patch it up for the rest of the season and do the full rebuild over the summer. dang kids anyway:)
