Puting my 670 back together and cant remember intake valve position

It is not exact, but this will get you close - With the MAG piston on TDC, install the RV with the "window" uncovering the MAG side intake port, the rest of the RV covering the PTO intake port. The bottom-most right-hand edge of the RV window should line up with the lower right hand RV cover bolt hole. This is how I have always assembled my 670's. It is not as precise as using a degree wheel and "timing" the RV as per Doo specs, but it works. I tried doing it Doo's way, and it drove me crazy, and now I do it the lazy way. Somebody on here once posted a pic of this....I've got it printed out and stashed somewhere.
Thaks for the info. Spent some of the afternoon looking at it and I guessed pretty close to what you said.
