95 Polaris 800 Triple-PSI triple pipes. Sale or trade

Bored .30 over, forged crank, oversized carbs, PSI triple pipes, comes with primary clutch. Listing for a friend, he just bought the sled with this motor and is looking for something with a little less power. Would like to trade for 800 or 900 twin or sell this motor and purchase a twin. The guy he bought this motor from said it has over 200hp and he is just not experienced enough to handle that kind of power. Open to offers, pics available on request.

UPDATE: Motor taken into polaris shop yesterday to be checked out and it is NOT bored at all and needs one new jug with piston and rings at this point. He is looking for parts right now but will sell as is too. PM with any questions. Thank you for looking

I think the guy your friend bought this motor from was a liar. If your friend is looking for a newer 800 or 900, it will probably have more power than this motor, just an FYI.

Good on your friend for starting out on something similar to his abilities and not being one of the many who buy a huge power sled straight out of the gate.
