95 minute, 20 Mile drive this am

Anybody else enjoy a 2mph drive to the office today?? I mean seriously......I saw a lady do a 4 point turn in the middle of an EMPTY parking lot because it was the only plowed section.....

I should have trailered up and headed west.....

:face-icon-small-con

1 hour 40 min from I25 and Lincoln to 225 and iliff... totally uncalled for... should've been on the sled... wouldn't been much faster... would've like to have seen the looks on peoples faces as I smoke by them doing 70...hehe... It was crazy... there should be a snow driving test... if you can't pass it... you can't drive in the winter time... hehe...be safe today fellas..

I'm in breck today, HOLY CRAP I'm glad I didn't go to the job in eagle today I don't think I would have made it back. I'm kicking myslef that I took my sled off the deck last night in case I get stuck here.

I'm in a job trailer about 60 feet from the college, I can see the building about 1/2 the time.

470 & Quebec to 31st and Blake = 2 hours. Come on people you live here and know it snows, you should know how to drive in the snow. Have to admit the thought of riding the sled to work went thru my mind also.

Man where are these storms comming from? I know they're not passing through cali because its been bluebird here for a week.

However our drivers still manage to drive like complete dip****s no matter the weather conditions. Consider yourself lucky.

I drove halfway in -- left @ 6.20 and got to I-25/Broadway at 6:40 (5 minutes longer than normal). Then I got on the bus and headed into downtown for the last 30 blocks or so. Never got there (on the bus anyway). The buses couldn't make it up a little hill on 8th/Lincoln -- there were 6 or 7 buses in various stages of stuck/jackknife across all four lanes, so I got out & walked the last 10 blocks.

Then I caught crap at work, "You walked 10 blocks without boots?", "Where are your gloves?", "No hat?", etc.

These weenies at work don't seem to realize that when you grow up in North Dakota, 25 degrees (ABOVE zero) and a little snow makes for a fairly pleasant walk...:beer;:D

2 minutes for me, down one flight of stairs, get a cup of coffee, then down another flight into the basement.

Gotta love days like this!

But I did get back late last night from picking up the new M8, got to ride around a little this morning after shoveling.

It took me 35 minutes to get to Granby this morning. Haven't found any work to drive to yet.:(:(

BTW, Granby is 35 miles away. I got stuck behind a State Pooper driving 30mph in a 65 zone. Roads were only a little icy.

NONE of this would ever fly back in the AK either... what a joke for 'snow days' around here... as well as 'icy roads'.. I drove to school in high school, fresh off passing my drivers license test on roads with 3 inches of ice everyday... I can't believe some of the s#*tty drivers around here... and coming back from VP yesterday afternoon was a joke as well... I've found that I hate stupid people.. goodness... figure it out or go home

10 second walk down the hallway from the bedroom to the office.

This project is ending at the end of the month, so I may have to start commuting again, after hearing everyone's stories, I hope the next project is another work from home gig.....

Took 15 min to get to I-25 and 402 in loveland. Brake lights for as far as I could see. 10 min back to house and fresh pot of java. Figured the idiots could play bumper cars by themselves. totaled sled up near gould so couldnt ride to work. Loveland to Denver seemed a long ways today.

It's all of the Nancy's immigrating here from SoCal, Texas, Mexico and other non-snow states that are the problem. I made it home from Steamboat (56 miles) last Friday in snowstorm in 50 minutes and I don't feel that I was driving recklessly either.

1 hour and 15 minutes for 10 miles. I am from out of state (south - sorry got here as fast as I could) and these people are idiots up here. They have no idea what momentum means. It is very unbelievable to me how bad people drive...thank god not too many of them get on sleds (and those that do really make us look bad...now I know who these people are!)...

haha, speaking of which.........I passed "Mr GQ" in his 65K BMW stuck on the side of Hampden (3% grade), Cali plates, sitting there on his phone OUTSIDE THE CAR with it still in drive, watching the tires slowly rotate on the ice.

Phukin classic.

:D

We made it back to the springs by 5:45ish but we took 24 instead of the plank squshers route.
