I've got under a grand in CC debt that i'm payin interest on...should have it paid off in a couple months. I've a bit more CC debt, but it's zero interest for a year and I'll have that paid off too before the year is up.

I have one card and balance of under 1000. Never get over that mark and try to pay at least 200 a month. My plan is to get out of debt ASAP and then sit back and watch all these mfs with nice cars and houses sink with the rest of the credit ship. Maybe the Jones's aren't that "cool" after all!!!! Btw, paid cash for my sled and drive a old truck that is paid for, so I have no worries

NO! I was paying them off one by one and doing pretty good too. I was even putting a good chunk away in savings for my son's college and my retirement, but then my hours and wage got cut at work. I work in Land Development and nobody is buying any land up here, therefore work is slow. If there is no land getting sold, purchased, subdivided or developed times get lean. I can make payments to them but not as much as I used to. There is a lot to factor in too, I had back surgery done in the early Spring, my wife has extensive medical bills and of course the obvious, fuel prices. Thank God those have come down drastically in the last few weeks!
Phatty, the taxpayers will NEVER pay my bills for me. I still have a job, I just can't pay them off as fast as I used to. I never said that I was going to stop paying them
And to the puzzy that left me UNSIGNED rep, I do have a sled up for sale, I'm just waiting for the new motor to get installed. I have sold my wife's sled already and I sold my dirtbike a few months ago. I can't sell the ATV because I use it to plow in the winter.
What in the heck do you do for a living to charge 40k a month on a credit card?!! WOW!!
