'93 Phazer II- 1 3/4 inch track fit?

I've searched the forum and found two different answers - it was probably covered more than once on the old forum - but it looks like it's gone. So, here goes -

Will a 1 3/4 inch track clear the tunnel on this sled with stock drivers? I've seen a response that indicates smaller drivers and drop brackets are needed...and one that said a 2-inch track would fit with stock drivers. I can't imagine a 2-inch would clear...but wanted to be sure before I spend any time trimming paddles on the 1 3/4 track I have.

I was thinking the max with stock drivers would be 1 1/4 inch or so.

Thanks!

I have a 91 Phazer with a 1 3/4" Polaris track on it and it needs 7 tooth drivers to fit just barely it's tight but it's in there. Sled motors along pretty good with it too. Don't think the drop brackets make any difference.

I have a 95 Phazer ST (136) and the stock track was 1". I pulled the drivers and installed 7 tooth then a 1 3/4 paddle track. The track rubs a bit on hard landings or on ice build-up at the front bulk head. So I shaved 3/4s of the paddles down to 1.5" and they look like new still (1000kms). The 1 3/4 paddles do rub still but no biggy.

i have a 93 exciter sx with a 1 1/4 with 9 tooths and there tight going from a .75 standard track, ive talk to lots of guys and the best way to have the room you want is to roll the chaincase because the smallest drive i know of are 7tooth like shawnmcgr stated.

Installed tonight....

Thanks for all the responses. I trimmed the track to approx 1 1/4 inch and installed tonight -stock drivers. All went back together fine - easily clears the bulkhead.

Also replaced the slides since I was there. Seems like this track must be a little tighter than the one that came off, turns easily but doesn't look like I'll have to use the adjusters except to make sure it's centered.

Hopefully we'll get to try it out this weekend.
