92 phazer front shocks! help

need some advice!!!!

i got a 92 phazer and the front right shock get stuck fully compressed and wont release unless i take the weight off that ski and it release's
and the front left look's blowin,theres dryed up oil around the top of the shock
i dont know if these shocks are rebuildable or can buy new shocks???????

thanks:beer;

Don't know if they are rebuildable, but you can get them new through the aftermarket parts warehouses. I suppose you can get them straight from Yam. too, but that might hurt the pocketbook a touch.

The shaft is likely bent, If the top part of the shock tower gets hit, the shock shaft can get bent. Pull the outer top cover off and check where it sticks, if the bend is not too bad you can rebend it.

okayy.....so just undo the bolt on the top of the shock under the rubber boot???
i looked on royal distributing there $99.95 for a new shock

thanks

Yes you uno the nuts on the top of the can. You also need to undo the rubber cover in the middle of the can and take out the 4 - 6mm bolts then everything pretty much comes apart.
