So, is it possible to do the setting yourself? What meter do you need to do this yourself or is there a predetermined setting that is needed.

you need a meter and the tool. slp sells them and you can make your own.
I will have to look at the value but If memory serves the low is .87 at idle and the wot is 3.95-4.8K

I had a pic. of how to set a tester up but lost it when my computer went down. You use a 9volt battery, a 5 volt resistor, and a digital ohm meter (fluke meter). I think fomoco's stats are correct. You also need a screwdriver with the whole in the middle like the ones used for oxy. sensors. You feed it 5 volts and then read the ohms with the throttle at rest and wide open. You also look for a smooth increase as you open the throttle.
