900 spindals

What benefit is there to replacing the spindals on the rmk? Will this help with steering or handling?

Maybe just a waste of money and time:face-icon-small-con

There are a couple options to go with. Best bang for the buck would be to find some 08-10 take offs or look for holze.

It's going to make stearing a lot less work. I'm going to be putting 08 take offs on mine come fall. This mod is something that every 900 should get.

:face-icon-small-hapThank you so very much for your reply, I am having a very hard time steering my sled and this info is awsome:face-icon-small-hap

Last winter I wanted to burn this sled because it is so hard to handle but I LOVE the power this engine puts out. It also climbs where I don't belong and has on many ocasions scared the crap out of me when I was turned around and back down I had to GOOOOOOOAH.:hurt:

05 159x2.4
brand new modified crank, I think Bickman?

Also other things you can do to help it feel lighter in the front end is put you limiter strap either in the middle or bottom hole and put in the 225# front track spring this helps TONS!!!

Take a look at the stickys in the 900 section and start reading there is TONS of good info on the 900s on this forum. You should find everything you want to know and then some more.

I agree the 900s rock and love mine.

Grippers and Holtz

The gripper Skis also make them very easy to boondock with and are a great Deal if you can find a take off set.

That remindes me I could use another set. I run them on both my sleds.

Thanks again for your replys.

I was also wondering why people are gearing their sleds lower? I have a 159x2.4 with a rotio of 19/39 red/white spring with 42/38-46 helix. My primary is 74gms weight and a 08 800 rmk black spring. I am 215 lbs and this sled rips. Had an opertunity to drag several polaris 8's, ski-doo 8's and cat 8's last season and thaught I was going to get smoked by the cat but it was the other way around.:face-icon-small-sho :face-icon-small-hap
