900 EFI ECU needed.

I am in need of a 900 EFI ECU

Yeah I am sure.
No spark is the symptom
But... After checkeing EVERYTHING I changed to a different ecu and it fires right up. go back to the "bad" ecu and no spark.

The moral of this story, Make sure your pure logic box is GROUNDED !!!!

How much is a used ecu worth? have one from a 05 EB kingcat, but think that we here in Norway have the ZR timingcurve.

Last year I bought one for $125. That was a SMOKIN deal !! At this point I am BROKE ! I would pay $250 for one But after that I am screwed. If I cant find one for a good deal I am going to part the sled out. I cant buy a new one from cat at $1300. The sled has under 1000 miles on it and lots of little goodies.
She runs like a beast so I really dont want to do that But some times you have no option.

Some bone yard most have one. Even one for a zr would work fine until you could afford to get it re-flashed.

Yeah, the post about the 05 kk part out is old. It was first posted last march. I don't know who dug it up or where they found it. I am kinda hoping someone goes out when there isn't enough snow and totals a sled so I can buy a used ecu. Wow that sounded really bad, I will take all that back.

sorry about your luck rixster, i think a ecu reflash is like 200 not sure, but i spoke with troy i believe at RV sports in thief river falls, mn and i believe that is what he told me, give him a call and see if he knows of anything, he may.

rixter - try Yelllowstone Polaris 406 259-7777 Billings MT. ask for Roger in service. they had a couple of beat up 900 MC's they were working on but not sure if they ever made it out alive!

I saw an ECU for an 02 ZR on ebay for a decent price. I know it is a stretch but I gotta believe with the ethanol wire open that ECU would work. Maybe High Time could find out through his son.
