is it o.k. to run two cylinders ,. one without s decompresion hole and one with? also, most cylinders i have seen the decop hole is just above the powervalve but have one with the hole over to the side, above the exhaust port. anyone seen this before?

Yes you can run one with a decompression hole and one without, i did for a 1000 miles with no problems and the cylinder you have with the decompression hole off to the side into the exhaust port is from a zr not the mountain cat.

overrated..i blocked mine off and picked up a m1 recoil....wow that ranks up there with one of the best mods for the beast

I have not found the decomp hole to have much affect. It was placed first in the ZR900 motor and then all 900s after that to aid starting. I can't tell a difference and they will compression test out the same. Run it!
