900 compression

I was checking my compression and thought is was a little low. 105/105 dry and 130/130 when i put some oil in the cylinders at 7600 ft. elevation.
What is suposed to be good at this high elevation.

sounds about right, mine is 125 dry at sea level

Thanks dawg. I have heard numbers in the 120-130 range but i dont know what elevation there at and wet or dry cylinders.

What were the numbers and what alitude were you at.

Dealer checked mine this fall.... 120/120 (dry I guess) @ 1300 ft

compression gauge in MT, Snowmobile in AZ. Should the two ever be in the same state I will check it. All I can say is it is hard to pull in the morning with the new pistons even in AZ. It's going to be a PIA to pull it when it is actually sitting in the snow.

Last spring mine were 144/142 dry@ sea level. That was after gasket kit change.
