900 compression specs??

when doing a comp test on the 900 , what should you get? besides being the same number.

It all depends on your gauge. Mine shows about 100 in each side. Another gauge that I used on the same motor shows 85. Both test were the same day, one after another.

IS it hard to start? when compression starts getting low that is normally the first sign.

We had a few 03 900's and a king cat and at 1800ft the 03's were around 155psi and the king cat was about 138psi.

well i threw some new pistons an drings in mine today , and with the motor warm at sea level, i had about 145 psi in each side,

About 4,000 miles on my motor and I'm running 125psi in each cylinder.
