900 cat timing key

Has anyone tried the cat timing key advance? If so, how many degrees did you go?

I have I think it makes a big difference. Mine is a 2 degree advance.

I wanted to buy dale cutler told me to forget it unless you are running high compression heads.

I have a 2 degree advance on mine with 1010 big bore with high compression head works great. Tried a 4 degree it work good for a while but ended up shearing the key not fun.

not with the cat the holes are not slotted like a poo.

Even if you could, the timing sensor is on the case and the triggers are on the outside of the flywheel. Stator orientation doesn't mean anything on cats.

Do any of the 900's have this key? Is the 03.5 equal to having the 2 deg. key,Or is it all in the programmed timing pattern? Does it advance higher than the ZR';s and 04's and later?

1.25 degree. sled is bored head pipe. and a 1.25 in the sled is going to really be more like a 1.75. that has seem to run the best for us.
