Sorry this is a lame one, Polaris guy with a old Skidoo. Freind gave us a 87 Safari in mint condition. Thought we could use it for pulling kids around etc. It has a Mikuni oil pump which is very similar to the one used in Polaris. Is it calibrated the same as a Poo? Align the marks when the carbs just start to open, or is there another procedure? Also The chaincase doesn't seem to have a dipstick, but a plastic plug in the very top. Fill it to the top?
