Can anyone verify if the front bumpers are interchangeable between the 850 and 800. I have seen 2 different part numbers on aftermarket bumpers.

The 2018 bumpers will not fit on the 2019 sleds because of the updated mounting tabs but I believe the 2019 bumpers will fit on the older models.

BM Fabs site lists their front bumper fitting 15-19.

Yes thats because all of their current bumpers have the new mounting setup on it and it retrofits back to 15. I think the tabs on the lower part of the overstructure are now beefier because of all of the issue that people have had breaking off the tabs.
I was told that the ultimate would fit my 2019 hope or does don't know till sled gets here but was assured by dealer would fit

I went to the dealer and held a 2018 Polaris aftermarket bumper up to a 2019 Polaris bumper and tube diameter, angles, etc. all seemed the same. If anything the outside tube on the 2019 seemed smaller.
Are you saying the tube ID on the 2019 bumper is bigger for bigger tabs or something? I didn't check this.
Was just getting ready to take some 2018 bumpers to the powder coaters for fresh color, but they are going on some 2019 sleds. Would really like more info before I coat them, and no sleds yet to try them on.

This may not be right... BUT I think that the 2015-2018 bumpers mounted on the OUTSIDE of the tabs on the bulkhead, the 2019 bulk heads have reinforcements on the outside of those tabs. The bumpers are now made to mount on the INSIDE of the tabs, therefore they fit the old sleds, and the new ones.
The 19 tabs have been reinforced outward for more strength. B&M has now made their bumper mount on the inside so their new bumpers will fit on any Axys. I will have my new 850 sled here either Friday or Saturday and can post a pictures as I have some 18 bumpers as well.

Still confused. Just went and looked at a stock 2018 800 in my shop and the stock bumper mounts to the inside of the tabs, with a big cutout on the outside for the bolt. Looking at the 2017 Polaris Extreme bumpers I have, they all appear to mount on the inside of the tab as well - same mount design.

The Polaris bumper may have mounted on the inside all along, dont remember. That doesnt mean all the aftermarket bumpers mounted the same as stock.
If you are wondering about the fitment of a specific bumper just make a phone call to that company, they will know.

I don't know about the aftermarket bumpers but if you look on Polaris's website they show the same part number for 2018 800 and the 2019 850 bumpers.
Yes, the stock bumper still mount to the inside from 16-19. B&M was mounting to the outside but now since the 19 Polaris updated the tabs B&M has now built their bumpers to mount to the inside.
