Part 1 of our 850 NA review podcast. We compare the 2025 Arctic Cat M 858 154 3.0, Polaris 850 Khaos RMK 155 3.25 and Ski-Doo 850 Summit X 154 3.0. This Part 1 episode is all about weight. We fill each sled up with gas, oil and a spare belt--just how you would start a ride--and put them on the scale. Stay tuned for Part 2: Ride Reviews and Part 3: Q&A.SnoWest test riders Bruce Kerbs, Broc Genta and Justin Stevens join Ryan Harris in-studio.

“Polaris West” strikes again. Everyone should know by now that cat and doo dont stand a chance at the Polaris sponsored podcast. Fake weights to keep the sponsor money coming in.

I'd like to see the front to rear bias on a scale rather than a bumper lift. I think that'd be more relevant in assessing how the sled may feel on the snow. Could scale the right and left skis and track. I think Skinz had a video demoing this a few years ago for the Axys.

If my job was writing articles and doing videos I would do some research and have my numbers correct before I made a video and put out the wrong info!!!

Doo fuel capacity 9.5 gal
Cat 10.5 gal
Poo 11 gal

So cat did a great job on there new chassis, Doo is actually 36lbs heavier than the cat, and 39lbs heavier than Polaris. What a bunch of hacks have the right info.

Wrong side of the bed?
How are they 39 pounds heavier? They weighed them and cat was the lightest. Then it was polaris and obviously doo last. For me, they are closer because I get electric start.
To be technical, doo was always 9.4 since they came out. When did they start calling it 9.5? One tenth is pretty minor anyway.
I've heard them get stuff wrong. They were talking about the start of the 151. Harris said it was 2001. It wasn't. It was 2000 but I'm not going to burn his house down over it. It's an honest mistake. I think they do a great job considering they probably have to tip toe a little so they don't piss anyone off too bad.

They said Doo had the biggest fuel tank that's was some of the reason it was heavier
