850 getting hot after upside down

If this is a 2019 850, there was many issues with the temp sensor going bad. There is an updated part for the 2020 850's that will retro fit your 2019.

So pulled the water pump cover off and the shaft just spins. Motor has to be disassembled to fix ??
I can’t figure how the shaft can break that soon.

From what I can see it is a plastic gear ?
Thinking now it was just a qinidence as i was under power climbing I don’t see how being upside down on the internal part would make a difference

Couple pages back there was another failure your not alone. Running upside down has no part of this IMO.

Temperature sensors are failing on the Patriots. Are you sure it is hot? Maybe you mashed the wires to it?

I’m thinking this is the winning answer. Running at throttle upside down for minutes will likely make for a tough warranty claim

How is any dealer or Polaris for that matter going to be able to prove or even suggest the sled was run upside down?

Are there built inclinometers that they can read and say “no sir you ran your sled upside down, no warranty for you”

SMH.

I mean....by the book it's likely not warranty, it's damage. But I agree, it would be hard to ascertain that it ran upside down.........that's why I said "I would keep the conversation straightforward" .....sled overheats.
