850 174 Belt Drive Build

Cooling isn't usually an issue. I switched to the OTTP Reversible scratchers. They kick up way more snow then the stock ones. I went out this past weekend and with the trail being rick solid in the morning, I had to stop 3 times to through some snow on the tunnel.

I think the cooling system has improved in the last few years. How did you feel it handled? I am trying to decide between building another 174 vs buying a 174 and adding a belt drive.

In my opinion its way better to buy the 163 belt drive and convert it to the 174. The handling is awesome. hardly can tell its a 174. Another awesome point is when you choose to upgrade again, you can put it back to stock and sell it faster as a 163 has better resale value than a 174.

The X3 just just spins on hard snow doesn't dig in. The X3 has the saw tooth tip which helps on the hard packed.
