Those motors should be high revving monsters with the Desmodromic Valve system Ducati uses. 15k rpm out of a 450 should be doable.

It's a speculation of what modders could get out of it with the springless high revving engine. There's not much info on it at all.

I've owned 3 ducatis. A monster 900, a 914 and now a scambler 800. None of them are/were high revving. Desmo valves made sense in the 1960s/70s when spring metallurgy sucked, but even my YZ450F revs higher than my 914 did, or my scrambler 800 does. And an inline 600 revs higher than anything ducati makes.

Ducati even dropped the desmo valves for the V4 engines. And they rev higher than the V2's with desmo valves.
