800r aero 66 build advice

Don't know if it would be benefit efi sleds. I could see it helping if they were having an issue getting the enough fuel as they transition to boost. Don't think it would really benefit wide open for them. But really do not have much efi turbo experience-the one I am working on still won't work.

I had mine out yesterday. Man it is working good. We had a couple of feet of powder, so I do think I will be needing to make some sort of cold air intake. Started having issues w/ steam--especially after my sled tumbled.

Also my suspension ('09) is working very well. I have the rear relocate brackets, stock rear springs as tight as they will go, and moved the front shock forward 1 1/4". No negatives so far. I was running 9lbs of boost. Suspension comes all the way to the top and firms up much more as it is compressing. As long as nothing bends or breaks w/ this mod, I will not do anything else w/ the skid.

were doing some testing on EFI pulling pressure off pipe. have to get custom map's made for the box's as they are mapped to add fuel at like 1-2psi,and up so you would be getting way to much fuel b/c of pipe pressure, but well report back.

as long as the injectors will supply enough fuel to hold the correct a/f ratio on a efi sled I see no reason to run it pipe referenced. Now if you are runing out of injector and are going lean with the injectors maxed out. then useing pipe presure to raise the fuel presure might be just the extra you need without putting in biger injectors.

Dooinit, I have never seen that happen unless you must be taking pipe pressure to the ecu then,, yes it will come up 2 psi ahead of boost.

Guess how I fixed the trask kits,,??? perfect tune perfect fueling 242 hp 9 psi on a real dyno !!! betcha you know what turbo I used...??

the other torch turbo kit took 12 psi to make 238 hp,,.. I stood outside as to not have any of the turd from that other kit rub off on me..

e torch turbos RIP when you take ALL signals from the pipe,, lead the boost and the gurrgle is gone..!!!

Thanks to HALTECH,, anyone can get the unit for 450 bux !!! the doo turbo reeds failed at 12 psi 3 rd pull... doubled stockers made 4 hp more and never gave a lick of grief..

I am runnning dual injectors. Curious on using pipe pressure i have a issue when into a climb full throttle and have to let off throttle more than half and full throttle at 38psi fuel falls on its face yet at 42psi is ok but too rich on bottom.
so if i can start out with lower fuel pressure but hold some pressure in that transition. Running a attutude box so cannot take away fuel pressure and beeing a 1 only 900 efi cat turbo around trying this?? Will the pipe pressure drop off like chopping the throttle.

their are lots of different ways to get the same end result. end result being the correct a/f ratio/egts for a good runing engine. If you do not have really good control/mapping ability of the injectors then you can and some times have to get creative.
