800 SWB pushes coolant out of reservoir when started

A bad or out-of-place cylinder o-ring (the one between the dome and block) is probably the culprit. Pressure from the cylinder pushes into the coolant and is more than enough to push past the radiator cap. You might get some leakage into the cylinder too, so if you see any signs of coolant in the cylinder, I'd say that's confirmation. There may not be enough pressure to push coolant into the cylinder, so don't assume it's not the problem if you don't see any signs of coolant in either cylinder. FWIW, I've found mis-sized o-rings in an aftermarket gasket kit (I think Vertex was the brand). It was the head-to-cylinder o-rings, and I might have been able to get them in the groove in the block (maybe gluing them somehow), but didn't take my chances with them. I think a guy would know immediately what was wrong if he tried to force that one; just thought I'd mention it. Even with OE pieces, it wouldn't be hard to get one out of place and cause this problem.
