:decision:Hey all, looking at replacing the old indy and came across a good deal on a 06 900 switchback with a host of slp upgrades, fresh engine, simmons skis, 2.25 track, etc, only has 2400 miles. Seemed like a no brainer until I spoke to a buddy who is willing to sell me his 2010 assault for 3500 more, 2 tracks, slp pipe, boondocker, and egt with 1100miles, but not till next season. Either one will be a marked improvement over my 600 but looking for some feedback from those who have owned both what they would rather have. I have done lots of reading about both and know they have thier issues which I am fully capable of dealing with. Thanks fo the input.

i am huge 900 fan, however...if you dont have much sled mechanic skills/knowledge, i would advice you to not get the 900...although i have had mine 4 yrs now, and its better every season.

depends on what your buddy is selling his 10 D8 for also..

TONZ of guys are getting new Pros, so new sleds are going cheap....do your research and know what your getting into, and whats been done...

lots of dragons have had many issues too...

NEVER a complaint on the Dragon 700s however...plenty of them going for UBER cheap, and they are hard to beat!!

Anything you ever want to know about the 900s can be found in the 900 forum, tons of good info on these sleds in the stickies there. Once set up correctly, they rip and can give you many miles of problem free service.... Definitely the best bang for the buck IMO. Make sure you do your homework on whatever you buy to avoid surprises and good luck:beer;
